Just make a copy of the default and keep modifying it until you get something you like. :)

You can do it to create a theme or edit it some all that.  Trust me I dont know how to create a theme but Learning how to modfily one slowness lol

Nice theme RR!

I just dont like the squared look of the default theme.  I am not sure how to modify it to give the different images a more rounded look.

Look in /Themes/default/images and its subfolders. Use an image viewer to see the different images so you can choose which ones you want to edit. I can never remember which image goes with what so I use that as an easy way to find out.

If you cannot find the image you are looking for it is probably because it is css-based and just a color put in a certain place and not an actual image. So, you need to look in the style sheet to change the color or make it an image.

EDIT: If you still have a hard time telling what image goes where use Photoshop, GIMP or Paint.net (or something similar) and open the image in it. Use hue/saturation to easily change the colors. Create a new theme based on the default then upload the changed image to it. It will stick out like a sore thumb because of the color change.  8)
