webpage what
is one of the most important things to consider?
It is readability,
Great graphics may attract attention, but the visitor must be able to read
the words. This sounds simple enough, but it is often overlooked in the
attempt to create an awesome site. For example, sites with dark backgrounds
that use dark fonts are very hard for the average visitor to read.
Ask yourself these questions when designing:
Do you want your website to look different to stand out from the crowd?
Take a look at a few websites that will be similar to yours. Most times web
designers’ use pre-made themes and templates that tend to look similar to
many other sites. Try to develop a look different than the other websites.

In a desire to be different a great many of websites designers make reading
difficult.

1. White
type on a light pastel background or light pastel type on a slightly darker
background of the same color.
2. Colors
that don't blend well, like a dark green type printed on a background of
fire engine red.
3. Grey
type on a black background.
Adding too much content into a small space?
A big problem is trying to fit too much content into a small amount of
space, although a
small space to add content can be good in some ways.
It will force you to break down your ideas into simple words and make it
easier for everyone to understand.
A lot of visitors look at the content of the site
to figure
out if they want to act upon what you have to offer. The font type showing
those details should be large enough to see and understand, even for those
who have trouble with their vision. The font type needs to be 10 point, if
not 11 to be read by the entire population.
